Hmmm...well in Chicago, it was basically get up, go to gym, refresh, go to work, go back, check mail/play a game or two, go to bed, 5-6 days a week. I had no problem with it so long as I felt I was learning something, and I was.

IMO so long as the boss has the employee's best interests in mind and they're rowing in the same direction, all is well and good. However, if the boss views the employee as "people come and go, so who cares if this one burns out in three years, they'll be out of here in that time anyway", then we have a problem.

Come to think of it...I wonder if jobs like these are the reason people switch firms so often.
