There certainly is an increasing amount of coverage about social media monitoring, and the SMM space is growing at an extraordinary rate. The majority of big companies are now using this technology to gain an advantage over those who don't.

Radian6 are indeed the largest company that offer such a tool, but you didn't include some other big players - Alterian, Attensity, Visible Technologies and of course my employers, Brandwatch.
