#BlogOctober Finished painting!

Here is what my new painting "Akhmatova 2: To the Muse (Muse of Fire)" looks like (24x36 acrylics). You can read a detailed explanation of it here, and compare the color changes I've made in some of the colors. I like it enough, although I do have to learn how to take good-quality pictures of my artwork... Something to look forward to in 2016, perhaps. I wasted a lot of paint but I have some good ideas on how to improve for next time and, more importantly, I find the colors uplifting. There is an unpainted rectangle at the very bottom edge that is supposed to represent the never-ending creative process. In the end I am quite proud of my Akhmatova 2.
