Dorothy Lamb Crawford: A Windfall of Musicians: Hitler's Émigrés and Exiles in Southern California
Alan Riding: And the Show Went On: Cultural Life in Nazi-Occupied Paris
Ben Judah: Fragile Empire: How Russia Fell In and Out of Love with Vladimir Putin
Michael H. Kater: Never Sang for Hitler: The Life and Times of Lotte Lehmann, 1888-1976
Steve Swayne: Orpheus in Manhattan: William Schuman and the Shaping of America's Musical Life
Nathan Englander: The Ministry of Special Cases (Vintage International)
"War and Remembrance" by Herman Wouk would round out the top 10, but I couldn't find a way to make ten book covers display nicely in the post.
